More than 20 years of friendship, family, faith — and a little bit of adventure.

Bo & Lisa, Cliff & Kristi — our two families together at Christmas.
Our story didn’t begin on the Saluda River.
It began more than 20 years ago at a small church in Greenville, South Carolina. Cliff was serving as the youth pastor and beginning to explore a new adventure in real estate. Our worlds came together, a friendship formed, and before long, so did a business partnership.
We couldn’t have known then where that journey would take us.
Over the years, we’ve tackled a lot together. We’ve celebrated plenty of wins, learned from a few hard lessons, navigated more than our share of unexpected turns, and somehow always found ourselves dreaming about what might be possible next.
Then, almost six years ago, Cliff stumbled across this place.
Sitting along the banks of the Saluda River just outside Greenville was a property that needed quite a bit of love. It wasn’t difficult to see what it was — but Cliff has always had a gift for seeing what something could become.
And we saw something special here.
Little by little, project by project, that vision began taking shape. There were plenty of curveballs along the way — and probably a few moments when we wondered exactly what we’d gotten ourselves into — but our different strengths have always made us a pretty good team.
Today, that property has become Saluda Bend — seven beautiful acres along the Saluda River, with 12 unique cabins and four River Pods tucked into a place that feels surprisingly far away from everything, even though downtown Greenville is just minutes away.
But Saluda Bend has never really been about buildings.
It’s about creating a place where people can slow down.
Where a husband and wife can get away for a weekend. Where a family can reconnect. Where you can sit beside the river, put the phone down, take a deep breath, and enjoy the people you’re with and the beauty God has created around you.
Somewhere along the way, our families became part of this story too.
Our wives became best friends. Our kids grew up knowing one another. We’ve celebrated weddings and Christmases, birthdays and milestones together. We’ve prayed for one another through the good seasons and the difficult ones.
The photographs here tell some of that story better than we ever could.

That probably tells you more about who we are than anything else on this page.
Our faith, our families, and our friendship have shaped the way we’ve tried to build this place. We believe relationships matter. Time together matters. And sometimes we all need a place where life gets quiet enough to remember that.
That’s really what Saluda Bend is about.
A place to pause.
We’re grateful you’ve chosen to spend some of your time here, and we hope this isn’t simply somewhere you stay once.
We hope it becomes one of those places you find yourself coming back to.
We’ll see you at the river.
